Late afternoon on January 10, 2008 after Cesar told his wife Christina about the death of Maria Lauterback Cesar started to plan his departure on January 11, 2008.
I personally feel Christina knew what happened on December 14th.
Cesar knew that the police were on his trail once Sheriff Brown was made aware that during the preliminary investigation into Maria's disappearance unveiled the rape charges against Cesar on January 1, 2008.
As Cesar and Christina sat down and wrote the note, that was suppose to be found when Christina woke up, Cesar also check with bus lines to see which bus line will bring him into Mexico.
There is a Trailways Bus Line in Jacksonville, but this would be too obvious since this is where Maria bought her one-way ticket to El Paso. Although, based on how Cesar did all he did with killing Maria, burying her in his own backyard, going to Lowes on December 16th, 2007 to buy paint, cement blocks, shovels, and a wheelbarrow, including using Maria's ATM card. Then using Maria's ATM card on December 24th and then celebrating the Christmas Holidays and New Year's having a fire on top of Maria's dead body as she carried Cesar's son, bareley 8 1/2 months gestation, a child now called Gabriel Joseph; I am surprised he didn't go to Trailways to get his ticket.
As Cesar prepared to leave his wife and his 18 month old daughter, he packed some clothing and collected what money was available. There are reports that money was wired to him and Christina somewhere between Decmber 10 to January 12th. I don't doubt money was sent to him as he needed money to escape. I figure, if he had to use Maria's ATM card on December 16th to purchase the items at Lowe's and then again on December 24th, chances are the Lauren's were very short on money.
I am not sure who sent them the money. It might be Christina or Cesar's parents. I just feel the money was sent within the United States and it didn't come from Mexico.
Somewhere between the hours of 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, Cesar left his home and headed out on his journey to escape being arrested. I personally do not believe Cesar left any earlier than 8:00 AM because I feel, that he wanted to be with his young daughter, for at least an hour or so. Also he needed to listen to any morning show, perhpas The Today Show to see what Sheriff Brown was going to update regarding Maria. Sheriff Brown, on Friday, January 11, 2008, believed they would find Maria, and in his voice you could almost feel as though she would be found alive.
It was after the segment with Sheriff Brown that Cesar took off in his black pick-up truck and drove ~145 miles to Morrisville, North Carolina. At some point he took refuge either in the hotel in Morrisville, or just plain feel asleep in his truck until Saturday, January 12th, 2008.
Sometime during his short stay between Morrisville and Raleigh/Durham is when Cesar wrote a letter to his wife and mailed it from the area.
At some point, Cesar abondon his truck at the hotel in Morrisville and then walked or perhpas took a taxi to Raleigh/Durham. The distance between Morrisville and Raleigh is only 16 miles. He may have even hitched a ride from a vehicle passing by using his camaflouge uniform as a way to get a ride to Raleigh.
At some point, either Cesar deliberatly planted Maria's ATM card near the bus depot as well as also planting Maria's credit card. I am not sure if this bus depot was for Greyhound or Trailways, but I feel this isn't the bus line he bought his ticket.
On Nancy Grace's show on January 22, 2007, it was mentioned that Cesar used Tonado Bus lines to get from Houston, Texas to San Luis De La Paz, Mexico. They also mentioned on the show the cost of the ticket from Houston, Texas to San Luis De La Paz, Mexico, of which, was around $189.00.

I feel Cesar took Tornado Bus Lines right out of Raleigh/Durham because Torando Bus Lines has destinations in Raleigh as well as Charlotte.
It takes 30 hours by bus to go from Raleigh, North Carolina to Houston, Texas. And it takes an addtional 24 hours to go from Houston, Texas to San Luis De La Paz, Mexico. That is 54 hours or 2 and 1/4 days on a bus.
Now we know why there was no sight of Cesar for 2 1/4 days as he was on a bus. I do not know the bus schedule stops within cities along the way, but I wouldn't be surprised if the sighting of Cesar in Shervesport, Louisiana was real.
During all the hours of traveling, Cesar wrote another letter, possibly two and once he stopped over in Houston, Texas he mailed the letter.
I feel that the ticket, based now on what was reported via Nancy Grace, the bus ticket Cesar purchased in Raleigh, North Carolina led the police to think he is sitting in Texas. But that isn't the case as he bought another ticket from Houston, Texas to San Luis De La Paz, Mexico. This would make Cesar arriving in San Luis De La Paz, Mexico late Monday on January 14th.
Based on the interview with Cesar's cousin: Juan Antonio Ramos Ramirez told The Associated Press that Laurean walked into his liquor store on Jan. 14 or 15, and the two cousins chatted for 10 minutes about their families. Laurean then told Ramirez that he had to get back to two friends outside, but he might return. He never did.
The timeline fits!
Nothing would surprise me if Cesar didn't hop back on Torando Bus Lines and head back to the states. Torando Buses are RED, like a Red Torpedo! My goodness how was the bus missed for over all this time.
Although Cesar did what he did, and so much like a brain-dead Marine, he did do something right, he got on a bus and headed out of dodge. The chances of the FBI stopping all the buses throughout the states was slim to none.
Now we have to wait to see, if the local people in Mexico will do the right thing and turn in Cesar!

Lauterbach, Laurean Love Triangle
Is it possible there was the old-fashioned Love Triangle going on between Maria, Cesar and Christina?
As evidence comes forward from local law enforcement, Marines, FBI, Christina, Maria's actions, Cesar's rage, who is protecting who and why?
Right now I have to take out of the picture the rape charges that Maria filed and put them aside for a moment and just go from December 14th, 2007.
For some strange reason, Maria decided to buy a one-way ticket to El Paso, Texas on the 14th of December, which was to be used the following day on the 15th of December.
It makes no sense at all why a 8 1/2 month pregnant woman would want to go to Texas, a state where she has no relatives, no friends, no doctor, no health insurance, fully knowing she would be AWOL based on military protocol, barely enough clothing and money just to get away from it all.
I remember when I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and needed help just to get off the sofa or toilet bowl never mind taking a bus for hours to another state. Then once in Texas, with no car, no idea where to find the hotel, or a taxi or even the bus schedule, manage to get to a hotel and get a room. This makes no sense to me at all.
I also remember when I moved to Florida from Pennsylvania, not pregnant and felt like this tiny little ant in a gigantic state. I didn't know even how to find my new home without directions and needed to carry directions with me for a while in order to get back I also had to print out directions to get to the store and back.
It is very intimidating when alone in a new state, or even a new city within a familiar state to get around. And with Maria, she didn't even have a car with her.
That brings up another point, why didn't she just drive herself to Texas if she was just going to leave the marines and start a new life? At least she had a car to get around.
Even though there was a Military Order of Protection in force, I need to put this aside also because it's just a piece of paper.
There was some sort of a plan here, a plan perhaps between Maria and Cesar. I started to feel this way after the statement was released that Christina gave to the police:
Cesar Laurean, 21, also told her that Lance Cpl. Maria Lauterbach showed up at his home on Dec. 15 to tell him she was leaving Jacksonville and demanded money from Laurean. The two then went to a bus station where he helped her buy a ticket to El Paso, Texas, the warrant said.
Christina Laurean told Onslow County sheriff's detective John Dubois that a disoriented and agitated Lauterbach returned to Cesar Laurean's house later that night and told him that "her plan had failed, that an argument ensued" and that she produced a knife and killed herself by slitting her throat."
I am beginning to believe Cesar went with Maria to get a bus ticket to El Paso, with the belief Cesar would meet her in El Paso and that Maria would be taken care of by Cesar's family whether within the USA or Mexico.
Note: Mexican families are very family-oriented and take care of their own and keep it within the family Mexican families are very, very close!
Not sure what happened after the ticket was purchased because police feel Maria was killed on the 14th.

A very young, hormonal pregnant woman would have certainly gotten very upset and could have driven to Cesar's house.

Maria already tossed her cell-phone or perhaps Cesar did, but in any event, the cell-phone was planted to lead her voluntary departure as a departure and not wanting to be contacted.
Once Cesar told Maria he wasn't going, Maria probably went to the house to confront Cesar. Or Cesar went to meet Maria to discuss his reasons for not going
I am leaning more toward Maria going to Cesar's house because Maria is now really pissed - off and may have decided to plant herself at the house until Christina came home from the Christmas Party and tell Christina of the plans that she had with Cesar.
This would certainly have outraged Cesar and something clearly happened at that point. Reports indicated that blood was in the house as well as in the garage, mostly in the garage.
Did Maria really try and slit her own throat and then was dragged to the garage to get her out of the house? Did Marie go into labor at that point and the child was born causing the loss of a lot of blood found on the garage floor? Did the fracture to Maria's head be the cause of her falling in the house or because she was set on fire?
I am trying to turn the scenario around to where Cesar cut her throat and then hit her and dragged her to the garage. I just can't come up with a good scenario for Cesar to due the cutting of the throat, IF there was an actual cutting of the throat. Regardless of how Maria died, what happened later on the 14th of December set another plan in motion.
Christina was at a Christmas Party and eventually had to return home. At this point, Maria is in the garage and something needs to be done with Maria and quickly.
Cesar is not capable of doing this alone, so Cesar needs to tell Christina what happened when Maria showed up at the house. Whether it be true or not, Cesar told Christina the story as stated in the note.
I have to go back to the Maria's car for a moment since I have her driving to Cesar's house. Perhaps the car was hidden somewhere down the road from Cesar's house and left there for the time being. I feel this is the case based on the fact that Maria was in the garage at that time.
Once Christina came home, Cesar told Christina about the suicide and what took place. At this time, Cesar needed to borrow a shovel from his neighbors and used the excuse that he had to plant flowers.
I feel Maria remained in the garage the entire night of the 14th and it wasn't until the 15th that the shallow grave was dug to place Maria.
Cesar could have been out in the backyard for awhile digging without any of the neighbors being suspicious of the digging since he already indicated to the neighbor he was planting flowers.
Later in the evening of the 15th as darkness approached is when Cesar and Christina brought Maria's body to the shallow grave. I don't feel Christina stayed there while Cesar set the body on fire. Nope, don't feel that!
Thoughts about the neighbors not smelling a foul odor burning probably didn't even phase the neighbors because first, the windows were probably closed due to the weather being cold and the heat on, or perhaps even the weather being warm and the air-conditioning on. Also, trash of many kinds will produce foul odors and since the average person is not really aware of what a body smells like when burned, they couldn't determine that was the odor.
Either later on the 15th or perhaps on the 16th of December, Cesar returned the shovel to his neighbors.
At some point, the garage and room(s) had to be cleaned up and painted. Christina continued the plan in motion by telling the neighbors of the painting that was done in the house and maybe even invited a close neighbor in to look at how great it all turned out.

To continue the new plans of Maria leaving the military, based on the note, the ticket, the cell-phone, the money, they had to lead the police in another direction so Cesar went to an ATM to withdraw money on the 24th of December. Reports indicate that Cesar attempted to cover the camera from his face. The reports indicate a white male and Cesar is light enough to be classified in that manner.
To keep life normal within the Laurean home, they invited some military buddies over to have a bar-be-cue in the backyard on Christmas Day. It sickens to me think that this bar-be-cue took place over the shallow grave, but it looks more likely it did than didn't.
This party was a way to give alibi's to the Laurean's via the military based on "who the hell would ever have a bar-be-cue over a dead body!"

Money is needed and according to reports, there was numerous Western Union money transferred to Cesar and his wife. If Cesar told his family what he did and why he needed money, well law enforcement officials will have to deal with them too!

The Lauren's already knew of Maria and by this timeframe, they already had the bank records and record of the bus ticket.
This is why I believe on the evening of the 8th the car was returned and the cell-phone disposed of.
It may have been on the 9th that Cesar contacted a criminal attorney regarding the death of Maria or even on the 10th. The attorney, if there was an attorney could verify if this call was made and if there was an appointment and if he advised Cesar that this warrants the death penalty.
I am not sure if I buy the story of Cesar confessing to his wife on the 10th because I beleive she was made aware of this when she returned home from the Christmas Party on the 14th.
What the Laurean's needed to do was buy some time for Cesar to get away and together they planned the letter of what happened, and Christina giving her husband a 6 hours lead before the police were even aware of this letter.
In 6 hours you can travel 420 miles at 70 mph.
It is only 145 miles and 2 hours from Jacksonville, NC to Durham, NC which means he hung around NC for a while, maybe waiting for money to come through. Maria's ATM card was found on Saturday in Durham, NC.
Around 8:00 AM on Friday, January 11, Sheriff Brown was on The Today Show indicating it was a much more positive direction that Maria will be found and believed alive.
Now at 8:00 AM or thereabouts, Cesar was on the road. Based on reports of his neighbor, Cesar's truck was home at 6:30 AM on the 11th as she saw it while walking her two dogs. I beleive she indicated that the car was not home at 8:00 AM when she went to take her daughter to school.
It wasn't until around 12:30 PM, 4 hours later that the Sheriff indicated that the investigation has gone in another direction based on information they received.
Christina indicated to the police that when she woke up at 4:00 AM her husband was gone and found the note. But it took Christina nearly 8.5 hours before she brought the note to the police.
Did Cesar and Christina sit down over a cup of coffee to listen to the Sheriff giving his report on The Today Show? It wouldn't surprise me if this was the case.
Cesar needed to protect Christina and their 18 month old daughter. Remember, the Mexican culture protects their family to the highest degree. The Laurean's needed to convince the local law enforcement that Christina had nothing to do with helping Cesar bury Maria. There is a young child at stake here, and they are doing everything to keep the child with at least one parent.
Cesar knows if he makes it to Mexico he can blend in with the locals. Heck, he can do this within the USA in most states bordering the west coast and if needed even come to the east coast into Florida.
The questions is "where is Cesar, and who is helping him to hide?" As of this writing, it is 7 days that Cesar is on the run. With all that is happening, the stress level within him is wearing him down along with anyone harbouring him from the FBI and other officials.
I am confused over the letters that "alledgly" have been sent to Maria. It makes me wonder if this was part of the original plan between Maria and Cesar and not that of the recent plan between Christina and Cesar. If there are letters, they would have had to come from within NC and not so much TX. Cesar's truck was found on Tuesday afternoon in Morrisville, NC which is about 17 miles from Durham, NC where the ATM card was found on Saturday.
A well conditioned Marine could easily walk 17 miles from Durham to Morrisville and hop a bus to El Paso. I am sure all officials are tracking any ticket bought to El Paso. I sure hope an ID is required to purchase a ticket! At least I hope this is the case. Even if Cesar was to hop a plane, he still has to show ID to get on the plane.
Could he still be in North Carolina? Only time will tell!

It may have been on the 9th that Cesar contacted a criminal attorney regarding the death of Maria or even on the 10th. The attorney, if there was an attorney could verify if this call was made and if there was an appointment and if he advised Cesar that this warrants the death penalty.
I am not sure if I buy the story of Cesar confessing to his wife on the 10th because I beleive she was made aware of this when she returned home from the Christmas Party on the 14th.
What the Laurean's needed to do was buy some time for Cesar to get away and together they planned the letter of what happened, and Christina giving her husband a 6 hours lead before the police were even aware of this letter.
In 6 hours you can travel 420 miles at 70 mph.
It is only 145 miles and 2 hours from Jacksonville, NC to Durham, NC which means he hung around NC for a while, maybe waiting for money to come through. Maria's ATM card was found on Saturday in Durham, NC.
Around 8:00 AM on Friday, January 11, Sheriff Brown was on The Today Show indicating it was a much more positive direction that Maria will be found and believed alive.
Now at 8:00 AM or thereabouts, Cesar was on the road. Based on reports of his neighbor, Cesar's truck was home at 6:30 AM on the 11th as she saw it while walking her two dogs. I beleive she indicated that the car was not home at 8:00 AM when she went to take her daughter to school.
It wasn't until around 12:30 PM, 4 hours later that the Sheriff indicated that the investigation has gone in another direction based on information they received.
Christina indicated to the police that when she woke up at 4:00 AM her husband was gone and found the note. But it took Christina nearly 8.5 hours before she brought the note to the police.
Did Cesar and Christina sit down over a cup of coffee to listen to the Sheriff giving his report on The Today Show? It wouldn't surprise me if this was the case.
Cesar needed to protect Christina and their 18 month old daughter. Remember, the Mexican culture protects their family to the highest degree. The Laurean's needed to convince the local law enforcement that Christina had nothing to do with helping Cesar bury Maria. There is a young child at stake here, and they are doing everything to keep the child with at least one parent.
Cesar knows if he makes it to Mexico he can blend in with the locals. Heck, he can do this within the USA in most states bordering the west coast and if needed even come to the east coast into Florida.
The questions is "where is Cesar, and who is helping him to hide?" As of this writing, it is 7 days that Cesar is on the run. With all that is happening, the stress level within him is wearing him down along with anyone harbouring him from the FBI and other officials.
I am confused over the letters that "alledgly" have been sent to Maria. It makes me wonder if this was part of the original plan between Maria and Cesar and not that of the recent plan between Christina and Cesar. If there are letters, they would have had to come from within NC and not so much TX. Cesar's truck was found on Tuesday afternoon in Morrisville, NC which is about 17 miles from Durham, NC where the ATM card was found on Saturday.
A well conditioned Marine could easily walk 17 miles from Durham to Morrisville and hop a bus to El Paso. I am sure all officials are tracking any ticket bought to El Paso. I sure hope an ID is required to purchase a ticket! At least I hope this is the case. Even if Cesar was to hop a plane, he still has to show ID to get on the plane.
Could he still be in North Carolina? Only time will tell!

Was There Another Side of Maria Lauterback?
On Tuesday, I was glued to the Marine Press Conference as they shared an extensive breakdown of Maria and Cesar. I was setback a bit as I listened to the details of the sexual assault charges, the consensual and non consensual sexual contact and thought, "oh my goodness, there is something wrong here."
As of the other day, the general public was aware of one sexual assault charge against Cesar somewhere in April 2007; now known as April 11, 2007. But then another sexual assault incident on March 26, 2007 comes to light. And then another sexual incident in May 2007 came forward.
The military issued a Military Protection Order to keep Cesar away from Maria, and based on reports they were on opposite sides of the base. All the MPO were consistently renewed except for the last one which expired on December 23, 2007 and was quickly renewed on December 24, 2007 until January 7, 2007.
It is obvious that even though there was a MPO, Cesar and a possible accomplice were able to get a hold of Maria, or did Maria meet up with Cesar?
May 2007, Maria reported another sexual assault charge against Cesar but this charge was later dropped by Maria when she found out her conception of her pregnancy was on or about May 14, 2007.
On June 27, 2007, Maria became ill and went to the base doctor. A pregnancy test was done and the positive result of a pregnancy was determined. Based on size of the uterus, last menstrual cycle, etc. the doctor indicated around May 14, 2007 the time of conception. That would mean an approximate February 14, 2008 birth.
There were no reports of the last OB/GYN examine on November 26, 2007 indicated as a possible new delivery date or an official determination of how far Maria is in her pregnancy.
Reports back from December 19th of when Maria went missing was that she was 8 1/2 months pregnant. If this is true, then it would be possible conception back to March 26, 2007 or April 11, 2007.
Military reports indicate a denial of sexual attack, or one was an sexual attack and one wasn't a sexual attack.
Based on all the reports and time-lines between Cesar and Maria, it appears each of them followed the rules of the military to the letter.

All you have to do is watch the Court TV shows to see what people do to one another in a relationship. I could share first hand stories myself of what I have seen and the pressure, stress and frustration of what a scorned or scared women could do to a man in an instant!
What happened to push Cesar so far over the edge that he didn't even think straight the day he murdered Maria and the unborn child.
Was Maria's mother really telling the public the truth about Maria being a pathological liar? Even though I was disgusted to hear this on national TV, it has me thinking that it may be more possible than not.
It saddens me to even write these thoughts and no one would have even known about Maria's life within the military and Maria's denials, charges and denials until she went missing. I am sure Maria didn't want the last year of her life spread over the news.
In the end, even if Maria did play head games with Cesar, this is not reason enough to murder Maria and her unborn child.

After writing my thoughts about Maria, I came across and article online regarding the search for Cesar. At the very end of the article it reads:
Some in the community recalled her drive to follow in her father's footsteps and join the Marines. Her father, Victor Lauterbach, is an Air Force Reserve master sergeant in the 87th Aerial Port Squadron, which is part of the 445th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
Little did I know, when I wrote: "A child, regardless of gender could have wanted to be a Marine one day like his/her mother!" Maria wanted to follow in her father's foot-steps as a Marine. :(

Maria Lauterbach - My Thoughts!
Maria is a beautiful young woman who seems to have been a bit insecure and made a decision to venture out into the world by joining the Marine Corp back in June 2006.
Although her step-mother has stated that Maria's character was that of a pathological liar, bi-polar, etc., etc., Maria may just have decided to prove people wrong when she went to boot camp and made it into the Marines. An accomplishment that is very difficult to achieve even for a man.
Maria's beauty may just have been her downfall on the Camp Lejune Marine base. There is no doubt in my mind she may have been hit on by a majority of the Marines, and possibly even more so from Marines returning back to base from Iraq or Afghanistan. Who could resist Maria's beauty which seems to shine from in-wards out!
No one knows what happened on the April day in 2007 when Maria was sexually attacked by Cesar Armando Laurens. Cesar is married and has a daughter, of which, not sure of the child's age. What possessed him to rape Maria?
In any event, Cesar did and Maria pressed charges against Cesar, which in itself is difficult to do to accuse another Marine of such a heinous attack. In all rape cases whether within the confines of a military base or outside in the normal world, rape is hard to prove, as it is the woman that has to prove it.
Perhaps Maria showered and all evidence was removed, this is unknown. In the case of Cesar, a quick shower will remove any evidence on his body with or without a condom.
So what is left for Maria to prove to her superior and to the Marine Corp that this rape occurred? Maria became pregnant from this rape, and all the evidence of this rape is beginning to grown within her. Maria now has no choice but to wait 9 months until the child is born and DNA is taken from an infant to prove paternity.
Back in the day when doctor's couldn't tell parents the sex of their child, the anxiety of wondering if it is a boy or girl would at times be overwhelming. We seemed to want to know if we should paint the room blue or pink, or what color the baby clothes should be. Instead we settled for yellow or green until the child was born.
These thoughts are so minor compared to what Maria lived through for nearly nine months. The DNA of her child to prove the rape.
Brining a child into the world is God's most precious gift to a woman. She carries the child for 9 months feeling every movement, every urgency to pee, every pound she gains all for this child. With Maria, she felt these same feelings along with, my child will prove my case.
Although Maria filed her charges against Cesar, she still was not safe on base. I can almost hear the harassment from Cesar and Cesar's Marine buddies over these rape charges. I can almost feel how hard it was for her daily walking to her position on base, eating in the commissary and daily life within the base. Maria was a large "flashing" red light of danger and threat and abuse from fellow Marines.
Maria had no choice to seek refuge to living off the base and managed to find a fellow Marine who was concerned over her well-being and he offered to share an apartment with Maria. I am sure Maria didn't foresee this stage of her military career in this fashion.
Although Maria felt she was protected from Cesar as an order of protection was granted based on the charges, but it is very clear that even an order of protection didn't protect Maria and her unborn child.
What happened to Maria on December 14th is still yet to be solved. Maria did meet with her "caseworker" on or about December 14th. Around 1:30 PM or later, Maria spoke with her step-mother and they had a argument/disagreement about something which has yet to come forward. Perhaps Maria wanted to get away from the area for a short time to breath.
Maria wasn't scheduled to report back to base until December 17th, by media reports and newspaper articles. Did Cesar know Maria's schedule or was he stalking her after she met with her caseworker, fully knowing he had to act now or never.
Somehow Maria ended up at Cesar's home alive, or perhaps knocked out enough to transport her to his home. For some reason, I feel someone else was involved with Cesar to help grab Maria, get her out of Cesar car, help kill her, clean up the mess, carry her a way back into the backyard, prepare the shallow grave and set it ablaze.
I have a feeling, that Maria was abducted while she was either getting in or out of her car. Either Cesar or another accomplice may have driven Maria's car to Cesar's house and once their plot to kill and bury Maria was accomplished, then one of them drove Maria's car back to the bus depot and the other followed in either Cesar's truck or another vehicle.
There is a Christmas tree sitting outside of the Lauren's home at the curb-side waiting to be picked up by the trash collector. You can see how neatly it is placed, and also how manicured the outside of the Lauren's home is as a child's slide sits on the front lawn.
Did Maria smell the pine fragrance from the Lauren's Christmas tree as she pleaded for her life in the Lauren's garage? Did Maria hear the Lauren's young child in the house playing as she is fighting for her life?
Maria, did all she could to protect her unborn child from the moment she found out she was pregnant to her last breath at Cesar's hands.
I watched the news coverage and the aerial coverage as the police swarmed in on Lauren's house and uncovered what was to believed to be a fire pit in the farthest point from the Lauren household. As the police put up two white tents to protect the area from the weather, the scene and the helicopter above, I watched a tarp being undone and laid toward the back of the fire pit.
It was very evident that they found the shallow grave and the remains of Maria and her unborn child. For an instant, I was so thankful to hear that the child was still in the womb, but in a second I was so upset to hear that Maria and her unborn child were set on fire as if their lives we nothing but trash to burn.
The crime scene investigators, and perhaps forensic personnel worked with dignity and respect to Maria as they carefully removed inch by inch of soil surrounding Maria and her child.
I know I watched longer than I should as they prepared to bring Maria and her child up from the foot deep grave, carefully lifting her body draped with a white cloth or plastic sheet to ensure her privacy. Sadly the helicopter above did catch a portion of Maria's uncovered head for a mil-la second and what was once a beautiful young woman with long, reddish blond hair was now blackened sight.
This is a vision I wish I had never seen in my life, and put myself in the hands of the many people that worked so hard and carefully and respectfully to bring Maria out of the depth of hell by the Satan with in Cesar.
I will always remember what Sheriff Brown described when he viewed Maria's charred body and the unborn child's hand that was clenched in a fist and was a small as Sheriff's Brown's thumb. Sheriff Brown's words were felt with such pain and sorrow for such a beautiful woman and her child.

I am so thankful that Maria never got to hear her step-mother's words splashed across the world on TV, in the newspaper and online. Within an instant, the world gasped at Maria's step-mother's words over her missing pregnant daughter. We all said "how could she say this to the public?" I was personally annoyed at this step-mother.
I am still unsure if this woman is Maria's step-mother, biological mother or adopted mother. Regardless of this woman's title she was wrong to say what she said about Maria.
Even though Maria may have been insecure in her growing up years, she was strong, very, very strong and Maria was willing to prove to her step-mother and to the Marines that she was really raped and who the father of the child is, Cesar.
Maria was protecting her honor as a woman, and as a Marine. Maria needs to be honored, respected and given the acknowledgment for who she is and her commitment to her unborn child and that of a Marine.
Maria doesn't know it, but she just may have changed the Marine protocol when it comes to women being raped on a military base. It is very clear that the Marines failed to protect Maria, even with orders of protection. An order of protection is just a piece of paper. It doesn't place a bullet proof vest around the body of the victim. It doesn't allow the victim to wear a gun attached to the waist to protect from harm. It's only an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of thin paper, useless to that of a 200 pound, highly trained male Marine or two!
There are and were a lot of missing young women and pregnant women over the years, many of them were killed by the hands of their own husband, boyfriend or of a stranger. This is very heartbreaking as these woman had no protection from harm, but with Maria, she had the entire Marine Corps to protect her, an elite military branch of service that is the first to go and fight for the United States of America. The Marines represent honor to the highest level and they failed on of their own, right here in the USA, a Marine by the name of Maria Lauderbach and her precious unborn child. A child regardless of gender could have wanted to be a Marine one day like his/her mother!
I personally honor Maria for the woman she was and for the mother she would have been.

There are and were a lot of missing young women and pregnant women over the years, many of them were killed by the hands of their own husband, boyfriend or of a stranger. This is very heartbreaking as these woman had no protection from harm, but with Maria, she had the entire Marine Corps to protect her, an elite military branch of service that is the first to go and fight for the United States of America. The Marines represent honor to the highest level and they failed on of their own, right here in the USA, a Marine by the name of Maria Lauderbach and her precious unborn child. A child regardless of gender could have wanted to be a Marine one day like his/her mother!
I personally honor Maria for the woman she was and for the mother she would have been.

P.S. After writing my thoughts about Maria, I came across and article online regarding the search for Cesar. At the very end of the article it reads:
Some in the community recalled her drive to follow in her father's footsteps and join the Marines. Her father, Victor Lauterbach, is an Air Force Reserve master sergeant in the 87th Aerial Port Squadron, which is part of the 445th Airlift Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
Little did I know, when I wrote: "A child regardless of gender could have wanted to be a Marine one day like his/her mother!"; that Maria wanted to follow in her father's foot-steps as a Marine.

Bush Had Tears!
A teary-eyed President Bush presents a wreath during visit to Israel's Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial and during an hour-long tour of Israel's Holocaust memorial Friday and told Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the U.S. should have bombed Auschwitz to halt the killing, the memorial's chairman said. Bush was visibly moved as he toured the site, said Yad Vashem's chairman, Avner Shalev."Twice, I saw tears well up in his eyes," Shalev said.
Although this is not the first time Bush came to tears, but now it is a good time he did, at least for me anyway. I am interested to see how the media spins these tears, like they did when Hillary's voice cracked and perhaps her eyes watered the other day, and the media ran with it like they did the Hew Hampshire polls.
Come on media, do the same so the ground is equal on both sides!

Ronald Reagan's Shirt-tails!
I had such a crazy dream last night after watching the debate. I didn't realize I was soaking in every time one of the candidates mentioned "Ronald Reagan".
I do know that at one point I thought, come on guys, you have to think on your own and not reference Ronald Reagan all the time because you can't imitate what Ronald Regan did during his term in office because your not Ronald Reagan.
In my dream, the new President (nope didn't see the face) is now at the White House and immediatly asks for all of Ronald Reagan's notes, journals, memos etc., only to find out that Regan's files are locked up and can't be released for another 50 years. I woke up with the new President screaming: "now what will I do?"

Peterson Letter
I just watched Nancy Grace’s interview with Brodsky last night. I found it quite interesting when Nancy jumped on the phone bill and Brodsky saying they seized the phone bill. This seems very odd that the ISP would seize the actual monthly phone bill when they can get the records right from the phone company. In some cases it could be 30 days after the initial calls from October 28Th to show up on a phone bill as it depends on the billing cycle. I wished Nancy would have said something about online cell phone records to check the phone calls. Most cell phone company’s have online cell records and online billing and most of the time you have cellphone number show up online within 12 hours of the phone call. I wish Nancy would have taken this conversation one step more.
Although Brodsky said he knows Drew was in Florida on the 29th because he spoke with him is not sufficient enough because they are talking via cell-phone and you can say your at one place and be somewhere else (like Scott Peterson). Drew’s cell-phone records for that trip along with pings will determine where Drew called or received calls on the 29th. Also Disney World will have a record on when Drew and four children arrived at the Magic Kingdom based on purchasing the tickets and their fingerprints. Yup, they take your fingerprint as you enter.
Hopefully the ISP, will do additional investigation based on this letter and track it back to the 29th and Drew’s whereabouts. If Drew is associated with this letter, not sure what charges can be held against him but maybe it will prove a cover-up in some manner.

With the way the primaries and caucuses are going, we are seeing history right before our very eyes. I find this to be outstanding and quite interesting.
I am not a big fan of politics mainly because most of the reports are reported by the media and the media seems to report their own views, especially their prediction of how the New Hampshire primary would be; "a blow out".
All of my frustrations yesterday was because of a clip that the media, MSNBC in particular played over and over again of Hillary chatting with a some woman over coffee, and her voice cracking explaining her feeling in response to a question. You give MSNBC an inch and they run a mile with it.
I watch MSNBC and NBC because of Tim Russet's evaluation of what is happening in the primaries. He is fair and doesn't nip-pic like the other reporters.
MSNBC ran with polls, exit polls, crowds,women over 30, under 60, men under 30, over 50, blacks, whites, mexicans, asians and the dog population to predict that Obama would blow out Hillary and repeated it over and over again while telling the world a little choking up is going to ruin Hillary.
Once the prediction was made that John McCain won the Republican primary, the first thing MSNBC did was blast John for reading his speech. Chris Matthews, Keith Oberman, and Joe Scarborough along with the other men on the MSNBC panel excluding Tim Russert and Tom Brokow were down right mean to John McCain. Instead of congratulating McCain's win in the primary, they blasted McCain for reading his speech.
Although I personally feel McCain should have spoken from his heart, but the MSNBC team should not have gone so overboard. Keith Oberman apologized on behalf of MSNBC but it was way too late.
As Hillary kept her lead in NH, and too close to call, MSNBC was blabbering over what was going on in the polls. Over and over again repeating that perhaps the media reporting on Hillary's feelings was actually pissing off the woman in New Hampshire to come and and vote. WTF! Then MSNBC went in another direction saying "it's got to be the weather, it's warmer, and more older folks can come out and vote for Hillary. WTF!
The exit polls and candidates staffs calling folks throughout NH became a topic at one point saying: "did the voters lie as they came out of the polls?" I don't know too many people that will tell anyone who they vote for, nor would I tell someone that calls me if I will back a certain candidate.
Once Hillary gave her speech, of course, this was picked on by MSNBC. Oh look, Margaret is not up there with Hillary, oh, neither is Bill or Chelsey, or this person or that person. WTF! I am surprised they didn't comment on what she was wearing.
As my frustration level was creeping to the max over MSNBC commentary of the primary, I thought this is going to be difficult to go to sleep after what happened on MSNBC tonight. Then the blabbering panel asked Tom Brokow for his view and basically he said: "we have to let the voters decide the outcome and pick the candidate and stop with the predictions." This is not verbatim, but darn close to saying "stop all this crap and let real news happen"! This is when I said: "Thank You Tom Brokow", stood up, turn the TV off and went to sleep peacefully! :)
